"The cool, the crazy - the Flaming Lips!"

Listening to BBC radio 1's The Flaming Lips Experiments I was gobsmacked to find out that the Lips played on wonderfully dated Beverly Hills 90210.

What is even more remarkable is that it is a pretty darn good performance of "She don't use Jelly", making the whole thing an abject lesson in how to sell out whilst still maintaining your integrity. The trick is to embrace the ridiculous and express yourself regardless.
